After two weeks of witnessing our frig dying and losing many $$$ worth of food, mostly from the freezer, we finally got our new frig. It is quite the state of the art even for Japan. It has been the talk of our home with each person that enters in. All the "
OOOS" and "
AAAAs" have been quite funny. It still surprises us how hard the
japanese language is to understand, even for the
japanese. We had several
japanese ladies in our home on Sunday and it took all of them together to understand the controls on the frig enough for us to operate it.
